Do you ever miss me, d'you ever think of me
Back when we used to be in melody
Rippin' off the bandaid
Now I'm Backtrack Jack with my backpack on
My lips on another, cold as january in your sanctuary
Caught myself in the mirror
Now I'm Backtrack Jack with my backpack on
Sorry that I led you astray
Sorry that I let you down
I lied and betrayed
Now I'm Backtrack Jack with my backpack on
My black jacket's off and the devil is gone
I am, I am, on my way through the jungle
Call me Backtrack Jack
I'm walkin' down the dirt roads
In the back of my mind as I push rewind
Leavin' in a cloud of dust
No I never looked back in my jet black Pontiac
Now I can see the monster
With my comin' of age and my turnin' the page
In a hurry and humble
Now I'm Backtrack Jack racin' back in a like a maniac
Sorry that I led you astray
Sorry that I let you down
I lied and betrayed
Now I'm Backtrack Jack with my backpack on
My black jacket's off and the devil is gone
I am, I am, on my way through the jungle
Call me Backtrack Jack
